Nine crew members of a commercial crab boat were hoisted to safety after the boat named the Arctic Sea grounded on an Alaska island.
The Santa Barbara Maritime Museum invites community members to Love Boat: Sailing to Alaska, a land-based gala, 5 p.m. Friday, March 6, at the Cabrillo Pavilion, 1118 E. Cabrillo Blvd., Santa Barbara.
