Purdue's season has hardly gone as expected -- especially at home -- after entering the season as the No. 1 team in the country

Purdue Boilermakers (22-6, 12-5 Big Ten) at Ohio State Buckeyes (17-11, 9-8 Big Ten) Columbus, Ohio; Sunday, 1:30 p.m. EST BOTTOM LINE: No. 8 Purdue visits Ohio State trying to extend its three-game road winning streak.

The No. 12 Purdue Boilermakers and the Indiana Hoosiers meet Tuesday. Tip-off from Bloomington, Indiana, is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET.

Purdue will hold its Spring Showcase at noon April 11 at Ross-Ade Stadium. The event is free and open to the public. The Boilermakers are scheduled to begin spring practice on March 3. NCAA rules permit up to 15 practices over a 34-day period. Purdue again plans to use all 15 days, and 10 will be open to media.

After becoming the Ivy League Rookie of the Year in 2022-23, Pierce averaged 16.6 points, 9.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game in 2023-24 en route to taking home the Ivy League Player of the Year hardware. However, his numbers dropped a bit the following season as a junior.
