The game cannot be saved when non-costume codes are enabled. To bypass this, enable the code on a level that has an auto-save point. After reaching that location, intentionally die or press Start.

CGI trailer was great but if I find out that they once again added unlockables that you can play through the game with but won't let you save your game i'm not paying full price for this.
