A frantic search for the suspect in last weekend’s mass shooting at Brown University ended Thursday at a New Hampshire storage facility where authorities discovered the man dead inside and then revealed he also was suspected of killing a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor.

Police are looking into whether a shooting that killed an MIT professor could be linked to the mass shooting incident at Brown University, according to law enforcement officials.

The FBI allege that the suspect, a native of Portugal, drove from Rhode Island to Massachusetts after the Brown shooting and subsequently killed the MIT professor.

As the search entered its fifth day, authorities have so far been unable to identify the person of interest in the shooting that killed two students and wounded nine others over the weekend.
