Young alligator snapping turtles are a feast for the eyes. Gnarled keeled carapaces outlined with pointed peripherals, and skin covered in pointed tubercles that help break up their outline when in ambush, and also help detect movement of prey. My favorite is when they have the long chin tubercles and look like a New Jersey nightclub owner with a dual braided goatee.
