It was so wonderful to welcome 'Peggy the pilot cutter' here at Watchet Marina, successfully arriving on a neap tide. Peggy was built in 1903, with a draft measuring 7ft 6inches. The Pilot cutter would have been a vital part of Watchet's heritage, used to bring goods in to the harbour from large cargo ships in the Bristol channel. Fast and agile sailing boats, one of the most iconic and capable sailing vessels of their time. We were very pleased to be able to refuel Peggy here at our Marina, so
