Following his dynamic return to the stage after his Hollywood years, Elvis had already wowed fans in 1970’s “That’s The Way It Is.” His manager, Colonel Tom Parker, soon secured another deal with MGM for a follow-up documentary. The studio hired filmmakers Robert Abel and Pierre Adidge, best known for their work on Joe
