A 5th person has died out on the trails in Juneau this summer. 2 cruise passengers, 1 local at the Dam, 1 seasonal worker (Our good friend Tom), and a Italian researcher on the Glacier itself. It’s been a brutal summer and Alaska doesn’t even blink an eye or even care. Hiking alone or even with someone in Alaska is different than ANYWHERE in the lower 48.
