BATON ROUGE, LA- DOTD announces that Pecue Lane and the new diverging diamond interchange (DDI) at I-10 will open to the public Monday, January 12 as part of the Pecue Lane/I-10 Interchange project. Northbound Pecue Lane will open with both lanes available to traffic. Southbound Pecue Lane will also open, with one lane available until final striping is completed. The I-10 on-and off- ramps at Pecue Lane are expected to open in the coming weeks. DOTD encourages motorists to familiarize themselves

Drivers outside Baton Rouge watched a fireworks truck turn the I-10 interstate into a surprise show after something ignited inside the trailer. Rockets and huge bursts started firing straight out of the back over live traffic as cars slammed on brakes and tried to back away.
